Fresh at Paul Cluver Wine Estate

The garden at Paul Cluver supplies Fresh with vegetables and herbs and there’s no denying that fresh means more wholesome and flavourful. The menu at Fresh is simple with breakfast items, Croque Monsieur, Caprese toastie, Gourmet Burger, scones and muffins priced between R18 and R60. This can be washed down with fresh orange juice, homemade lemonade, a selection of coffees and teas or, of course, Paul Cluver wine.

Joan opened her lovely restaurant for our end of year function one evening last month. The food was better than I can remember eating in a long time. Every mouth full was amazing. Her food is full of taste. The wine was also fabulous and worth mentioning at a great price. I really cannot recommend this little hidden gem more. You get much much more than you pay for which is hard to find. I intend to visit whenever I can.

Lovely simple food with amazing taste. Quality not quantity. A hidden gem with a relaxed feel. Well worth it. Had a great time.
