Food:

While this is a favoured spot for very good sushi and dim sum, there’s a vast menu of other offerings from fish to fowl. Some knockouts are the duck liver crème brûlée with apple preserve, the tiger prawn penne with spicy Creole velouté, and spaghetti and meatballs with parmesan shavings. The white chocolate martini is a great, if unorthodox, way to end.

Wine:

A very good, comprehensive list, complemented by some great beers.

Service:

Usually it’s good, but it can be erratic when the place is really busy.

Ambience:

A large space with some brick surfaces and an outdoor terrace, this venue is much loved by the models and ad execs from the area. It walks the line between trendiness and good food with ease.

And...:

Linger at the cocktail bar for some unusual creations from the talented barmen. (GL, October 2011)
