New Media Publishing is offering a one month internship for suitable candidate to work across two premier multi-channel food brands – Eat In and Eat Out.
Requirements:
• Applicants must be highly organised: able to meet deadlines, manage their own time and have great attention to detail;
• Applicants must be resourceful and creative: able to grasp the style and vision of the brands, have an enquiring mind and passion for knowledge, be persistent and able to find new ways around problems;
• Applicants must be team players: able to work with others, to ask for help, cope with feedback and criticism;
• Applicants need good writing skills: able to research, interview and interpret information, have good verbal and written communication, be good listeners and computer literate;
• Applicants must be digital natives: familiar with all major social networks and search engines;
• Relevant tertiary qualification in journalism and or related media will be to their advantage, or any relevant work experience;
• An interest in restaurants and food is an added advantage;
• Applicants need to be available immediately once selected.

This is a voluntary, unpaid position. The successful candidate will intern with New Media Publishing for one month. He/she will have the opportunity to experience South Africa’s top content marketing agency as well as get exposure to the buzzing local food industry.
